Let's Bring Responsible Sex Back

We can’t just relegate AIDS awareness to a day, can we?
Let’s salute all of the sports and entertainment stars who stepped up Tuesday to encourage their fans to get tested and engage in sex responsibly.
National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day is a worth cause.
But let’s also encourage everyone to be aware of the risks every day of the year.
We need to openly discuss with our partners our sexual histories and practices.
It goes without mentioning by now that Blacks are afflicted disproportionately by HIV/AIDS. And Black women are being infected at alarmingly high rates.
So what are we going to do about it?
The health of our relationships going forward depends on a responsible look at the crisis.
Call the A Better One Is A Better Two show to point out ways you plan to stem the tide of unnecessary suffering.
We welcome your input.
